Wrongtools has sampled the Pro Soloist, bringing that vintage gritty magic right into your DAW via Kontakt. Whether you're into retro sounds, cinematic music, or modern electronic production, SOLOIST gives you access to the essence of the Pro Soloist.
The library was built with great attention to detail, capturing the nuances of the original synth. Recorded through great converters. And added some nice retro hardware effects for you to blend. We espesially love the Dep5 signal fader, to soften the sounds.
From vintage ARP sounds to newly designed patches, you've got a ton of options to explore for leads, basses, and more. We picked out the best sounds, and worked through them. On the original keyboads, many of the sounds sounds exactly similar.
You can tweak and shape sounds easily with the Kontakt interface, so it's perfect whether you're a sound design geek or just want to dive right in with some killer presets.
The ARP Pro Soloist is a rare gem these days, and not everyone has access to the original hardware. With SOLOIST, you get to experience the same vibe and sound without the hassle of vintage gear upkeep. It's also a great tool for any project that requires vintage flavor or a classic synth lead that cuts through the mix.
What I personally love about this library is how easy it is to use, even if you're just jamming. The presets sound great right out of the box, but if you're into sound tweaking, there's plenty of flexibility to create something unique.
SOLOIST works with Kontakt Player and Kontakt Full, so it'll fit into your setup no matter what DAW you're using—Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, whatever. It's also really lightweight, so you don't have to worry about taxing your system when loading multiple instances.
