Sounds Different

Your companion for comparing music audio recordings:

• Load up a reference recording and a number of other performances and compare them visually. Mixes, live recordings, cover versions, historical recordings, different productions, different ensembles.
• Record yourself while you sing or practice an instrument. Play several takes, and study what you did differently.
• Make technical comparisons, such as of audio files coming from different signal-processing or machine-learning workflows.

Sounds Different originated with our own requirements, for an application to use both in work, testing audio processing algorithms, and at leisure while practising an instrument.
