Tube Saturator Vintage is a free reissue of the original Tube Saturator.

Tube Saturator Vintage uses circuit simulation technology to faithfully reproduce the sound of a dual triode preamp. While it sounds great, the circuit simulation technology is very CPU intensive, that's why Wave Arts developed its successor, Tube Saturator 2, vastly more efficient, nearly identical in simulation accuracy, and with added features. However, some users prefer the sound of the original and requested it, so they've re-released it as a free plug.

I love using this plugin on my overheads. The saturation it gives cymbals and snare pop is amazing. The downside is if you're not running something with above average processing power then it can cause some serious lagging .

This plugin sounds good, its a flavour i will occasionally go for but there are other saturators i choose more often. Maybe this is the right one for you. I lie the eq a lot.

This is just not true. I use the free Wave Arts Tube Sat Vintage for years now. There are no restrictions for this version.
