The demo is certainly top notch and it is up there on the list of things to buy if I sell samples or something.

Hands down the best DAW! If I started all over again I would choose the same beginning DAW. Even as a multi DAW user this is still the best one. So much AI inside this DAW it is incredibly exciting and brings fun for all music makers alike.

This works as intended in Cubase 12, 13 and Bitwig 5.1.9. Ive only spent a couple hours using Harmony Bloom and the plugin is being actively developed, so I'll come back later and add more details.
So far this is one of the better euclidian sequencer / advanced arpeggiators I've seen in the software space, and the control you have over note timing is much deeper & more advanced than most. The dev has included many scales and "note collections" to make pattern generation interesting, although Harmony Bloom could include a few more presets. Right now this includes 19 presets, all of which are chromatic with a root key of C. Im hoping future updates contain a bit more spice here.
My only complaints right now are minor and dont affect the plugin much--
1)In cubase 12 or 13 there is some UI lag, and this affects the entire cubase UI, causing stuttering and slow screen updates. This does NOT affect sound quality or cause glitches though, but can sometimes cause your transport indicator to appear frozen.
2) there seems to be some sort of sync offset in cubase 12 and 13 when this is played in transport sync mode. Harmony Bloom's sequencer seems off by like 1/2 or 1/4 note and you have to compensate for it. This doesnt happen at all in Bitwig. I may be missing something that is causing this in cubase 12 and 13, so Ill update this review later if I find it.
Overall a great product, very affordable, and very useful if you enjoy approaching music from a programmatic perspective.

An absolutely gorgeous sounding work of software artistry!
Synapse Audio (KS) is simply a master of audio software engineering and patch creation.
You have to check this out (and Dune 3) - it's high quality and worth the price.
Read ReviewHey, I'm Brad. Been producing for 4 years, making music for 15 years. Any who, I get unmotivated with a lot of VST's for a couple reasons. The main reason being there are just SOOO many options. So I really appreciate these little Plugins. However, I wouldn't let the size or appearance (no offense) of this plug in fool you! It comes with multiple presets as starting points, and the ADSR and Filter are already set with perfect limitations to allow you to make quick DOPE adjustments. I frickin love this thing! I produce anything, but this is definitely an EDM/DANCE/WOP WOP WOP plug-in IMO. So if your looking for an awesome option, this is it.
Read ReviewIt seems Moog - like Roland - will also be joining the ranks of legendary hardware creators that couldn't code their way out of a VB hello world calculator. The sound is brilliant, but the DSP load and UI is quite possibly the worst i've encountered.

Needs serious work: it's a CPU hog and the sound quality just can't justify it--it's nothing extraordinary. It's good, but it definitely does not sound like a hardware Moog (which it was intended to replace on my end, a Minitaur specifically) and the filters really lack that special something I want to hear in analog bass synths. In any case, there's no way such a massive CPU hit on latest generation CPUs can be justified.
Secondly, putting so many basic controls on another page makes programming a real pain.
Thirdly, MIDI Learn is a PITA to use and is well-hidden.
I really wanted to like this synth, but even at $49 it's a purchase I regret. The UI really is terrible to use. We can handle all the basic synth functions on one page. That isn't "cluttered": it's normal for synth users in 2024.
Just please standardize around right-click MIDI Learn/Unlearn and be done with it. Stop trying to complicate things just because you can.
It bears repeating: even on an i9-13900K, the CPU hit is intolerable. There's just no excuse for this in 2024, not on a synth that sounds quite this underwhelming, anyway.
Many other devs are making far more analog-sounding, meatier bass synths (or synths that happen to be fantastic bass synths) that are quite well-optimized and well-behaved. Moog is seriously dropping the ball here.
v 2.0 better be a massive step up in terms of sound and usability or I can't honestly see myself pulling this one back up. Really disappointing.

Have not had any issues on my Mac. I purchased it early and have updated it twice as those were released. I just use it so that I can better hear certain instruments when I'm learning to play a song.
