GSi has announced the release of Electrorchestra, a virtual String Machine for iPad.

Inspired by some of the most famous string keyboards of the seventies, Electrorchestra offers 3 string registers plus one bass, features the classic attack-release envelope generator with break-point, vibrato, a classic chorus/flanger effect and a 4-stage phaser effect.
