4drX adds UI presets and AAX support to VirtualKeyboard 1.9.0

4drX has updated VirtualKeyboard to version 1.9.0. This update is free for all licensed users of VirtualKeyboard.

New features:

• AAX support (as an Instrument or a MIDI effect).
• UI presets (switch between different keyboard sizes, key widths and note colors with a single click).

• Compatibility with MIDI files with TicksPerQuarterNote other than 960.

• Synchronize recordings with the DAW transport when the play button link toggle is enabled.

• MIDI unsaved changes (indicated with "(*) " at the end of a MIDI file name) are now saved in your DAW project.

• If the link toggle next to the key signature is disabled, the key signature of a song can be now changed without transposing its notes.

Important changes:

The two included plugins have been renamed but their internal identification codes have been preserved to provide backwards compatibility:

• The VirtualKeyboardSynth plugin has been renamed to VirtualKeyboard.
• The VirtualKeyboard plugin has been renamed to VirtualKeyboardMidi.

Fixes:

• AU MIDI effect restored (Logic Pro).
• DAW no longer freezes occasionally when the transport is stopped.
• Pitch/mod wheel labels' font size adjusted for greater readability.
• Fixed transposition to Cb.
• Wheel and mod sliders don't interrupt notes anymore.
