XILS-lab releases XILS DeeS v2.0

XILS-lab has announced the availability of a major update of XILS DeeS, the de-esser plugin.

XILS Dees detects sibilances and plosives independently, for altering, adapting, or applying polish to the character of voices with those three independent EQ'ing paths, processed by acclaimed XILS-Lab analogue-style, zero-delay feedback filters.

Unlike traditional de-essing tools, XILS DeeS does not result in unwanted, unnatural-sounding filter sweeping effects yet users can get truly creative with almost endless possibilities.

With these two stages detection, XILS DeeS can also be used to adapt transients as hi-hats or cymbals, for example, or even slap bass by EQ'ing the more metallic-sounding element of such sounds.

This major update brings:

XILS DeeS is available for macOS and Windows in VST2.4, VST3, AudioUnit and AAX plugin formats for the introductory price of 34.99€ instead of 99€ until June 30th, 2025.
