Can anyone tell me if Native Instruments B4 version 1.1 is compatible with OS 10.4.6? I am running Pro Tools 7.1.
I can pick this up cheap from someone who's selling it but want to make sure before I buy.
Thanks! (Nice site you have here)

Hi,
I'm successfully running B4 1.1.5 on my G5 and 10.4.6 as VST and AU. But please note:
The BASIC B4 1.1 update was for OS9 and will NOT run on OS X!
Version 1.1.3 was the first OS X compatible version AND it was a paid upgrade (if I remember correctly)! I haven't seen that upgrade option in the NI on-line shop recently and it may have been cancelled after the introduction of B4 II.
So, you'd better make sure that the version this guy is selling is the OS X compatible 1.1.3 version or higher, or you may be in for a disappointment. As a registered owner, you can donload the free 1.1.5 update to 1.1.3 (an AU validation fix for Logic, I believe), but it won't work as an OS X upgrade from the original OS 9 version 1.1. I know, I just tried it before I remembered the 1.1.3 OS X upgrade...
Hope this helps.
