I was about to post this question because I noticed some contestants used FXs that came with CM magazine in Spectral submission. I don't remember the name or ID but I am sure I saw on their soundcloud description. I was about to use some, thanks for confirmation Crimsonwarlock.

MIDI plugins are considered the same as audio plugins. As long as they are in the DAW or free and easily available if 3rd party they are Ok to use.

Does anyone agree with us that the filters are Junglist's soft spot?
P.S.
Have a look and listen of our new preview in the shiny new submission thread.

Definitely not the most advanced or useful filters, no. Routing also leaves a bit to be desired..
Nice preview, marked contrast between the soft and gritty.

I like Junglist's gritty lo-fi side It turns into a mean machine if you push it even gentle

This should be a great month. Junglist has fantastic CPU usage, and runs quite stable - at least on Cubase 6.
Looking forward to all the entries

Indeed 35 freakin' instances and still just around 30% CPU hit Tbh I don't remember the original Junglist to be that CPU gentle, but the CM version works like it knows it's being used on a grandpa computer, heh The only "issue" that I had with it was a small graphic glitch with the knobs - sometimes when turned quickly they would look for a couple of seconds like a small square of static pixels.bjporter wrote:This should be a great month. Anywaym, it was fun working again with it, although I must admit it took me a while to get in the song creating mood after all this holidays break

Cool little synth - very versatile. Was having fun noodling around with ring mod and different waveform combinations - never really explored RM much, with a a wavetable / harmonically rich tibres you can do some pretty cool organic sounds.
Definitely shows its age with aliasing though - even a simple sine wave at a higher octave starts to devolve into weird buzzing.
Life's been busy lately, not sure I'll get time for an entry, but fingers crossed...

Actually, let me give you all the back story to why QuadrupleA has to have his fingers crossed when playing. QuadrupleA was born on another planet, and as such actually has more fingers than a normal human, and therefore to level the playing field V'ger and I decided it was best to make sure he has them crossed.QuadrupleA wrote:It's going to be an obstacle
Thanks for everyone understanding this.

What did you think to this? https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxAA0O ... sp=sharing
My Brother was seeing how I was tweaking the knobs of junglist and has make that.
The image needs some clean-up, but looks nice so far, didn't it?
