Yes, they made another list of 54, proving once again... nothing.
Yes, it spurs the time for yet another chance to make your own on KVR!
So? YOUR top ten VSTS?
And just to give your list a boost, what's your top five VFX too?
(I'll post mine after I think about it some).

AWOL though, where is Dune in the top 50 ?
As Music Radar = Computer Music, would expect most of those voting to at least have Dune CM and could vote the full version on the back of that

Not older than Sylenth1chk071 wrote:Probably too old. Totally out of fashion by now. Tbh, i guess on most of the voters harddrives, there will be warezed versions of Sylenth1 and Massive.
Looking at the top 20, I think most voters got Komplete, as 6 of the 20 is Native Instrument plugs
Kind of weird that Kontakt can't be voted for, when things like Nexus2 is in there.

i sold Sylenth last year, because i didn't use it enough.

I get why they don't include Kontakt, but wonder why Nexus is on the list except it has more recent play in the market. Many of their 'top' listed shows me more about who voted than what the synths rate to me. Sylenth is cool, but nowhere near the top on my list. Not even in my top forty.
Anyway, that has much to do with the 'what's yours?' topic.
Sometimes I wonder why I still let MR post on my page.

LinPlug's new synth only 39th, that must be a disappointment to the developers.
Nemesis 35th, same thing, I suppose they also expected it to do better.
Surprised Arturia's CS80 emulation is in there, when I demoed it, the user interface was so small I could not use the synth.
And a synth that doesn't even have a PW control is on spot 1

I actually love little lists like this as they often uncover some hidden gems not spoken of much on KVR. LIke Enzyme. Brilliant! CR4x. For sure worth a look at the demo.
I could list my favorites, but for the most part they are the ones that get talked about to death here.

The ranking in that list is bewildering to say the least. But as much as the top ten in the billboard charts say nothing about the quality of music, this list says nothing about the quality of a given synth. The top 3:pffffft.....
