After seeing the promo videos, this may be my dream synth. Wish I could afford it, maybe someday...

I've tried the demo of B2 and it was just amazing. And my feeling is it is better than Dune 2 based on my personal taste. However, I found that some of the presets (forgot the name) need more CPU power and would like to know if B1 is more user friendly than B2?

i am just a couple of days away from fresh money and blue 2 is on the absolute top of my list. but: i read in another thread, that saving your own presets is broken inside blue? can anybody confirm?

I read that too and tried to find some problem using Blue2 und Cubase Studio 5.
So far everything seems to work just fine.

If anyone can explain what exactly doesn't work i would like to know as well.

So i am using a Korg M3 as a Masterkeyboard. Blue 2 is the only synth, that changes prsets, when i change presets in M3. All other VSTs ignore this. Can this somehow be disabled in Blue 2 options somewhere?

You could disable sending PC in the M3.

after demo'ed it for around 4 hrs in total I think I will buy it by this weekend.

Man, it has some nice features borrowed from Sub-boom-boom (seq'er with different wave on each step) and Blade (XY Pad stuff).

And Blue 2 is now having tons of carefully selected wav forms and the moduation is sososososo flexible.

I hope Rob can have more tutorial video in the near future.

Click on the Blue II Log on the top right corner and uncheck midi program change and midi bank change.

Hands down my favorite Synth and I have most of the big VSTs in this category.

Try the demo, read the manual, this thing is a beast and easy as pie to use.
