The name is indeed funny but based on this screenshot it's quite obvious:V0RT3X wrote:It's really called BP Boobs mode?? So i take it has only two knobs ...Ingonator wrote:A short description of the new "BP Boobs" filter mode:

I found a new thread in the Tone 2 forum tat sums up all changes in Electra 2 (too long to post this here):
http://www.tone2.org/forum/index.php?topic=2110.0
Those are a lot more than mentioned at Facebook. There are many changes that are less obvious but still useful (e.g. switching layers with the F1 to F4 keys which seems to work in Live 9 here).
Concerning a release date Markus posted this:

I just really hope the upgrade price for it isn't crazy like Dune's was.

A pretty impressive lists of new or enhanced features there. Nice to see better mousewheel support, which was mentioned specifically for the arp steps and list selectors. I'm curious if mousewheel control of knobs has been made any smoother? It's very coarse in the original, there are only about 6 or 7 steps over the parameter range I think. And menu lists are still automatable right? This is one of the things I really lied about ElectraX, everything was automatable so it's great for automap.

At their Facebook page Tone2 just published the official MP3 demo for Electra 2:
https://soundcloud.com/tone2-1/tone2-el ... thesizer-1
MP3 file with better quality:
https://tone2.com/mp3download/Tone2_Ele ... esizer.mp3
The part at around 5:40 is quite funny as it is bavarian "Volksmusik" (like on "Oktoberfest"...). For those who don't know Markus is from Bavaria...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
This MP3 includes 4 short demos (each maximum 30 seconds) that i had done myself:
Electra 2 - Audio Demos 01-04
All sounds from Electra 2 including drums and no external FXs used. Two pads in the last part were done by myself (using the "BP Boobs" and string modeling filter modes).
