Hmm, I can't find an email with the BIG installer link. I guess if I really need it I can send Gunnar an email, I'll stick with the small skin for now, it works. (nevermind, I found the link)EvilDragon wrote:Dunno, I only saw that today, haha.
Yes. The link in the e-mail from the purchase still works, also for big GUI versions.braj wrote:Does 2.4 come with the BIG interface? I ran the installer and only got the normal one, which is actually OK, since I started using Reason I have gotten used to small GUIs again.

What does that CK Engine cover? Is it an entire platform Kerry can build any synths on? Like SE?

Great that you all seem to have found it, but I for the life of me can't find any link for the large GUI version of the v2 release.braj wrote:Hmm, I can't find an email with the BIG installer link. I just have an email of the original release "ME80 download links" that has links for two different versions and an email for the v2 links "ME80 2.0 download links", but that only has links for one version.
Could someone give me a hint? (via PM if appropriate)

Hello !
Take your link to the small GUI version.
It contains a decimal number made of two digits, so in the format XX.
Just after this decimal number you add "BIG" (in uppercase and without the quotes) so that you have now XXBIG instead of XX in your link.
That's all.
Said as this, all the registered users have the tip... and all the unregistered users have nothing new to access to these registered versions.

Ah, ok. No, the other two synths are still old SE plugins.
I doubt they will enjoy the same fate as the ME80, I assume the ME80 was not worth all the effort, either. No wonder, at 40 dollars per license and with all that competition...

I shot Gunnar some cash for the new ME80 for the Mac. I like it.
When I was young I bought an SY-1, the CS-80 was out of the question. It's been a long time between drinks for Yamaha as the next new Yamaha synth I bought was a moXF nearly 40 years later. ( A friends brand new leased SY-1 actually died on me - sorry Ross!)
The ME80 purchase was probably nostalgia but after hearing the first patch I didn't hesitate.
I haven't heard Gunnar's other synths and I'm 'sorta' moving towards mac as the main DAW anyway.

I covered a track from the Star Citizen game soundtrack.
The original music didn't had the Vangelis Blade Runner sound, while the city environment in the game looks very much like Blade Runner.
This is my interpretation of the original music. I tried not to alter the original composition too much, but since i replayed it by ear without a notesheet, there might be some small differences to Pedro Camachos work.
TLTR: ME80 at work.
