can i play those syllable's on any key?
Not sure If I'm sure I get your question, but only the text is 'pre-sequenced'.
The MIDI notes that enter the plugin dictates the pitch of the next syllable.

MIDI notes can of course be sequenced by you in a DAW or played live.

I hope to make a few videos soon.

Made a simple Vine with "Hello K V R" typed in, and playing various things.
Look for staccato vs legato playing and its effect.

The plugin has no clue which note comes next, it only know what is next in the list of phonemes.

[edit] should have added vibrato a tad :)

If you don't have chipsounds nor chipcrusher, you might be interested in the chip trio bundle :)

i do own chipsounds, already. but nice to hear you're planning a bundle. :)
are there any news concerning chipsounds? i.e. is a version 2 on the horizon?

I have a question for DavidV of Plogue.

Those opening tones you hear in the vine "Another Holy Grail Texas Instrument Speech-powered device in my hands" - these resonant beeps are similar to the "chimes" of the Speak and Spell and are probably a TI mainstay. Is there any chance of these getting an emulation in either Chipsounds or Chipspeech?

I was messing around with a synced squarewave and in particular, modulating the slave and master in different directions and different amounts depending on Keyfollow, and/or disabling keyfollow for the master but not for the slave, and I got a sound very similar. Do you know anything about how that sound is produced?

The sound is almost like a resonant filter; you can hear a static formant which picks out the nearest harmonics of each note, creating a counter-melody.

as a chipsounds owner, I'd be hella interested in a tantalising upgrade price to said trio.
as Jean-Luc Picard would say .. "make it so" : )

i can only second that. an offer to get both chipcrusher as well as chipspeech to complement (how come native speakers almost always spell that word incorrectly?) my chipsounds license would be very nice.
