Dagger is a compact and powerful monophonic synthesizer, that incorporates the most advanced and authentic circuit modelling technology. Dagger captures the spirit of analogue synths, but does not try to emulate any of them, its designed from the ground up to bring you its own distinctive, bold character. Due to its simple and intuitive user interface Dagger is fast and easy to operate, yet packs possibilities that will surprise you. You can’t get more for the money!

Engine
2x oversampling (Filters 8x)
Audio-rate processing of all signals
Power supply model - introduces a bit of characteristic noise into every signal
Oscillators
2 oscillators with wave shape morphing and hard-sync
Modulation destinations: pitch, phase, detune, oscillator 1 wave shape
Modulation sources: LFO modulator (env mode supported)
Filters
8x oversampled, circuit modelled, zero-delay feedback, highly nonlinear filters designed especially for Dagger synth
1 'japaneese style' 12db, noisy high-pass filter with highly nonlinear resonance
1 low pass filter, 5 models available
12 db Steiner-Parker
2x transistor-ladder
2x diode ladder
Modulation sources: Envelope, LFO, Oscillator 2, Modulation wheel
Modulation
Multi-mode modulator (LFO, Decay envelope, VCO)
ADSR envelope generator
Modulation sources: Key velocity, Modulation wheel
Amplifier
High quality, warm diode-clipper circuit model
Modulation sources: Envelope (ADSR, partial envelope: R o AR), LFO

I got a 404 on trying to download the Mac demo. If you're running into the same issue, go to http://www.beepstreet.com/downloads/ to get a correct link.

I really like this... Sounds very good.
I'll take it for a test spin, but judging by the demos I'll probably buy it.

The Filters sounds so lovely in my ears.
At the moment where I receive my copy for making the video preview, I felt in love with this modelled filters
For the IOS people, Dagger will coming probably in Q1 2016 for IOS

A good idea would be to have this absolute awesome filters as Filter Plugin

Sounds nice. But, monophonic, really? What reason, if it's not an analog emulation with hyper authenticity is there for a soft synth or VA to be monophonic? I just don't get it, it's an unnecessary restriction.
Sorry to play the party pooper, maybe there actually IS a valid reason to develop a monophonic synth which i just haven't figured out yet.

8x oversampled circuit modelling eats a lot of CPU, I wanted this to be a focused, cheap, bassline, lead, fx synth. Authenticity? e.g. get MicroBrute and compare its filter with 12db Dagger filter. I gonna record some video soon.chk071 wrote:Sounds nice. But, monophonic, really?
