I got names like "Transparent Rocket" or "Nuclear Kiss" :D
"Sex Follows Me Everywhere", "Me and My Thug" heh..

I think I'll use it. LOL
Yeah, sometimes I let it suggest names and then I manage to think of better ones on my own, just as a defensive measure.
Just because it's insane doesn't mean it's a bad idea.

After 1:10m it actually has some fairly pretty moments...not sure why you waste those on the # in the whole beginning?!

Hello fellas!

Here's my entry for OSC 88. Hope you like it.

They're getting into a fight. It's loud and nasty. Screaming. Cursing.
They split temporarily. While they reflect on the situation, sadness takes over. Coming together again they find that it's not going to work out anymore. They are going seperate ways but still think about each other. Until finally, they find peace.

This is just an edit. Please ignore. I had to delete my first challenge submission. Nothing to see here. :)

Welcome to the world: songs need names. :)
Of course noisemaker being a Juno copy I started reading about Roman mythology on wikipedia and from there Greek mythology and so on and so on...
Sometimes my song names come right to me. Other times I get stuck, so I just go here and play around until I get inspired:

Damn, If I read this post earlier I could have called it Solidified Sauce. To bad I already spent so long on the artwork..

No more calls folks. We have a winner.

Best OSC entry I've heard since I've been here.

You sir, are a genius.
Just so you know Waggs this is not the first time TPM has pulled out a "full band" track. Fancy some blues-rock?

And can you believe this wasn't even enough to win it!?! IIRC Photonic pulled out an absolute blinder to take line honors that month.

So much amazing music in the OSC archives :phones:

that Photonic guy has a tendency to do that :)

is it me or is your track very loud ?
I guess it is ... sound back then was less controlled, you more or less relied on the players to adjust their amps and/or instrument controls live ... the buzz/mains hum noise from the WatKats hopefully will take a few us back to the olden days on stage when all equipment was begged, borrowed, 2nd hand or made (we made power amps, valve based in the early 60's and moved into making some basic power transistor stuff a bit later on in that decade!!!)

Do you think I should lower the gain a bit? No problem to do that and re-upload. Any advice most helpful.

I wonder how many other "full band" tracks we will get? 2 so far!

Enjoyed making this - hope someone else likes it :-)

Hi dB,

yes it's a bit too loud for me too, also if you don't mind I would ask for a more theme like intro of the lead before it gets into the free solo.
Others than that great to hear you made such remembrance of sounds! Thanks!

OK, I'll drop it back a bit - I'll look at the intro to the solo - at the moment it's a harmony around the main chord sequence with a synth type arp into the solo. I was trying to keep the main recognisable picked chord sequence fairly clear to the ear (probably one everyone who learns guitar plays at some time - hehe) - before letting the solo rip, and then also to keep each verse intro (picked seq again) clear.

Anyways, thanks for the comment and I will certainly look at it - no promises - but we'll see!
