New in version 3.5 (May 2019):
Make each note write it's own story : The PATH function
The Voice XY and Space XY offer PER VOICE modulation since version II. Wich means each note can be different, in the stereo field, as well as for it's 4 modulation targets.
In version 3.5, you can now freely draw a modulation PATH for each note in the Voice & Space XY squares. You can create some precise sweeps of all kinds, or very fast Filter/Envelope/Oscillators modulations for each note. Or everything inbetween, and get a wild range of new sounds, that you can taylor in the deepest detail to adapt them to context, and even … invent new playing techniques.
More effects : A natural sounding reverb has been added to the existing effects.
New GUI/UI : The GUI has been revamped : No more knob shadows wich made the serigraphies sometimes difficult to read, and the Tab selector has been redrawn from scratch, as well as the tabs content. Synthesis blocks are now clearly separated by grey lines to make the unit more intuitive to use.
New Preset Manager : With hundreds to thousands of presets on board, content management is quickly becoming a keypoint of a fully enjoyable experience when playing synthesizers. Following Stix and the Xils 4, PolyKB 3.5 has inherited the new Xils One Window integrated Preset Manager : Find the right preset in seconds, create your own tags; multiselection/multitagging, export/import & manage banks, projects, or selections : Everything is there to make your work easier, faster, and more productive.
We also added plethora of small details : like new modulations targets, or fixing a number of small bugs : The list would be too long, but here again, a lot of time was dedicated to transform your musical experience with the PolyKB 3.5 into a totally flawless immersion into the sound

The PolyKB III captures the sound and spirit of the legendary RSF PolyKobol 2 polyphonic synthesizer, including its most revolutionnary feature : Morphing analog Oscillators.
This set it apart from all the other common analog synth recreations, because you have instant access to hundreds of different analog modelled & free running oscillators waveforms. More than in other synthesizer, including those who propose switching between oscillators models. Icing on the cake, they can be dynamically modulated by many sources.
Let’s add : Two gorgeous, creamy multimode filters, self resonating in all modes, and Xils exclusive 0df technology. Per Voice !
It wouldn’t be a XILS-lab instrument if it didn't have innovative & exclusive features like the Per Voice modulation engines, or the giant Step Modulator, to propel it into the XXIth century.
Make each note different : The Voice XY is a Per Note Quad XY modifier. You can control in a 2D square up to 4 different parameters to create from subtle to wild variations for each coming new note.
Control your sound in 3D Space : With the Space XY module, you can place each note in a 3D True Stereo Space, and build stereo scenes that no additional external effect can achieve. Furthermore, you can make it move with chaotic functions, adding incredible life to your sounds. You have never had so much artistic control over
the stereo field.
If you combine these two Per Note modifiers with the True Unison engine, you’ll soon get amazing, dense, and breath taking sounds, that will proudly take their place in a mix at once. And to operate it, you simply place and move balls, representing the voices, in a square. So easy, so immediate, so tempting, and … so powerful !
Hyper Modulations : The Polysequencer can now be used as a 128 steps, 4 lines/16 destinations giant Step Sequencer Modulator, allowing you to sculpt not only the most detailed TranceGate patterns, but also Slides or incredible rythmic patterns.
