It's just me. I don't like if there's rules and while a challenge is running the rules are not followed consequently. If you have rules and then declare a quick vote where 5 people of 22 participants say I don't care go for it and the rest... I need a reliable mode of operation. Anything else is just bollocks and opend doors for useless discussions. If somebody is late with the submission then it's simply the persons fault - making music has something to do with being organized. Among the Challenges of a producer is to deliver in time. Because on the other side there were people rushing to get their tracks finished and that means they may have made compromised quality. But why they compromised quality? They just were silly enough to believe the rules/deadline have to be followed...A real life Modus operandi that will work for me would be:Zero Ring wrote:Wait, why don't you like the rules?? 1.) Have a set of rules and apply them. No discussion. Any other challenge works that way. Say like you have hundrets of participants like for instance hofa mixing challenges and every now and then somebody is comming late...funny approach that would be.
2.) If you find out that the rules need to be adjusted. Do so for the next challenge, but not for the running challenge.
3.) If your late - accept it or submit unfinished.
But that's not the way OSC is operating so it's consequent not to take part and find an environment that is more suiting my needs.
Update: No need to discuss this elsewhere. I'm not going to discuss this anyway anymore. That was a few final words because sbdy asked.
