We're currently looking for V-Drummers who also use Kontakt to test our Kontakt 5 kits.

Testers would be responsible for checking the playback of each kit that we release in the future in regards to the V-Drum map.

If you use a Roland V-Kit and have the latest version of Kontakt 5 and would be interested in helping to test our Kontakt Pack kits, please could you email us at info@drumdrops.com.

Cheers,

The Drumdrops Team.

you can't play a V-drum with kontakt as the sound source. Midi is way too slow

tahts why Pads on electronic drums use CV/piezo hooked up to a special drumBrain

so a drum library should be only for playback
If your plugin is a Synth-edit/synth-maker creation, Say So.
If not Make a Mac version of your Plugins Please.

Sure you can, computers at low latency are ok for this.

You can do the same thing on a computer as well - hook the pads directly up to your audio interface and use that for triggering with eg http://www.audiofront.net/dspTrigger.php

I don't have a V-Drum kit anymore (although I still have a few pads) but I used to play sample libraries with it just fine, and they always sounded *way* better than the internal V-Drum sounds...

Of course you COULD play drums via Vdrums in Kontakt If a company finally gets the job done.

With EZ Drummer and Superior it is pure joy.
