Dexed is pretty irreplaceable for me.

Post

Synth1 I only started using recently and I really like it. Tyrell N6 and BazilleCM obviously. Both could have been paid synths (if Bazille didn't exist in the case of BazilleCM). Dexed too. To a lesser extent charlatan, DuneCM, PG-8X.

I used to crystal quite a lot about 12 years ago. Just downloaded it again. We will see if I keep it around.

Checked this out out of curiosity and came across this entertaining useful video.

Nice suggestion. Thanks.

CodeFN42's Chordz and Cales. Elegantly simple and useful.
This looks fascinating. It does major & minor scales and variations.

It looks like a good alternative to my Kontakt keyboard, for times when I'm mousing music rather than physically playing music.

thanx :)

PanCake 2
Do you use its wacky panning or are you "a more moderate user"

I'm interested to know when wacky pans could be useful.

Here's a review site with 19 free plugs reviewed. The guy has a friendly aussie accent which doesn't kill me off in 30 seconds like most reviewers

Have you tried Barricade v4? Well worth the 30 Euro:)
Have thought about.

What is it that you like the most about it, that you thought was worth the $30?
Better (and resizable and colorable) GUI that shows more of what's going on, different limiter modes, an extra compressor, an input modular for saturation/clipping... just more and better overall :)

I find it very useful. You can really find the 'sweet spot' as far as width is concerned. Will check out the video. Thank you. :)

TAL Chorus LX, Adam Szabo's Phazor effect, and Dexed. All good stuff. Oh, and some tuner plugin or other. I think that's it.
