Synth for Kpop?

Hello. I'm looking for few VSTs for these types of music. I'm big into k-pop stuff, so...

What would be 1 or 2 good soft synth(s) as well as romplers (for presets support) for these type of sounds?
Komplete seemed nice but their synths were too diffcult to use and the sounds didn't click much.

I should also mention that people who wrote the above tracks all use NI Maschine. Would it be worth it? It looks like a hardware-based software, or vice versa, capable of being a sampler with drumpads or some sort.. (I'm still not sure what it exactly is). I'm curious what the benefit of buying one would be.. Bunch of drum sample packs coming with it? Easier workflow? Please help me.

I'm actually working on a J-Pop CD currently. It's not the synth. It's the arrangement, the song, the vocals. Any synth can be used to do J-Pop or K-Pop.

On this track I used The Legend, Zebra 2 and Dune 2 with VProm for drums and 11 Vocaloid tracks for the vocals.

Kpop is a mixture of old and new sounds. You really wanna be lookin at someting like omnisphere.
Maschine is a device used to create beats or loops and any midi drum pad can do that if you have a DAW like bitwig or ableton.

I've had the pleasure trying omnisphere out, and it certainly is huge, but too much fx-y cinematic sounds and EDM-centered presets..

I think the vids are accurate depicting what kind of style that I'm after.

I fastforward-listened to few of the songs you linked.
I heard some electric pianos and Minimoog'ish basses.
Synth1 can do good enough EPs (realism is not that important for that genre IMHO) and The Legend can do the basses.

Okay, I listened to bits and pieces of a few of the videos you posted. The only thing different between these "K-Pop" tunes and American R&B/Hip Hop is that it's in a foreign language. There's nothing else special about these tracks that make them "K-Pop", which, by the way, covers a lot more styles than just what you posted. Listen to some AKB48 or some E-Girls sometime.

My main point still stands. Any VA synth can make these sounds. Demo one of the more popular ones (Diva, Zebra 2, Saurus 2.5 or whatever) and pick one. There is no "K-Pop" synth because "K-Pop" isn't anything really special outside of the language it's sung in.

Pop (in your examples, R&B/Hip Hop) is pop.

Hell, even Sylenth1 will give you what you're looking for.

I randomly choose the third track you posted and listened to it. Based on what I heard in the third track my feeling is that you need a rompler such as Xpand2 from Air and perhaps one regular synth such as Sylenth 1 or Hive. My advice is to look into AIR instruments because they some times have complete bundle sales where you can get everything you need for this type of music.

What is standing out in the third track are the regular bass sound almost sounding like an electric bass, the Rhodes piano sound and the drums.

You listen to anything kpop and its basically american music. The only difference is its less safe, more complex and better produced than US. But same sounds.
Omnisphere does have classic analogue thats heavily processed which is what this is more or less.

I'm gonna look into these mentioned VSTS right now!

I know and I'm pretty sure most subtractive synths can do those sounds, but I guess my question was more leaning towards which soft synths and rompler VSTS have better presets to get me started for those types of sound.

You can easily do this stuff with stock instruments that come with plenty of DAW's, which one do you use?

I'm on Cubase 9. Halion Sonic was definitely something I was looking into as a rompler thing. But wasn't sure if that would be a better choice than something like Nexus for those youtube-linked type of music..

HALion Sonic is spot on, you can than add something like Massive for all those flavor of month presets and you are golden.

which is pretty much kpop's lowest common denominator, it's still just vastly superior musically.
over there your success won't depend on whether your label paid the radio station execs on time. the stuff needs to be legit.

I've taken a decent amount of time. I'm currently trying to decide between Sylenth1 or Hive. I decided to stick to Halion Sonic SE for preset machine for now, just need a one-shot go for synth between the two. Plz help
