I am going to contact Steinberg but they are notoriously bad with customer support. To date, I've never gotten an answer out of them on anything.

Short and to the point.

I just released a library for Padshop Pro and the customer says the presets can't find the samples. This is on MAC.

So, is there anybody here who can tell me definitively where the presets and the samples need to go in order for this all to work?

I really appreciate any help anybody can give me on this.

He should be able to import your presets with samples by clicking here and selecting Import Preset:

You can import multiple presets at once.

If that doesn't work, he will need to create a folder called User Samples here:

/Users/<username>/Documents/Steinberg/Padshop/Samples/User Samples

He got the samples in the right folder? "/User/Documents/Steinberg/Padshop/Samples/User Samples/WAGTUNES_XPAC"

He got any other xpacs that work or stopped workin?

He try to do any shit with user samples yet? Dunno if the folders gonna be there or be seen by padshop w/o a user doin a sample import from daw and savin out a preset first.

He got a f*cked up osx install? I dunno lol

He got it to work with the instructions I provided upon followup.

Looks like I'm going to have to make a MAC install doc and include it.

Locking this one up.
