QuadraSID is pretty fun, too. I haven't seen Unknown64 yet, I'll have to give that one a whirl...

I'd unabashedly recommend the Unknown64 synth by Odo, which was released very recently, as well as all of the synths on this concise list:

Check out retro-gs01, it is very SID like but a lot more flexible, very powerful synth and very easy to use - what's more it is cheap (£10 on its own or £12.50 with retro-gs02 - an 8 bit style drum machine - thrown in).

You have to change the URLs on the downloads from www.progress-eve.com to www.funkelectric.com manually, an example:Mr. Tunes wrote:is it just me or do any of the download links not work here ? http://www.funkelectric.com/~cockaigne/
http://www.progress-eve.com/~cockaigne/ ... ck_v11.zip
would become
http://www.funkelectric.com/~cockaigne/ ... ck_v11.zip
Ta-da!
A pain, but well worth it.

this must be a horrible mistake. progress-eve.com is somewhat of a SPAM site.JackDark wrote: You have to change the URLs on the downloads from www.progress-eve.com to www.funkelectric.com manually,
