I'm using Nuendo 3 and Reaktor 4. Only been using Nuendo 3 a couple of weeks, and have never used VSTi freeze before today. Finding that I can apparently freeze any VSTi I want... except Reaktor 4. Clicking the freeze button just does nothing.

Any other Cubase SX or Nuendo users had trouble using Freeze with Reaktor 4 VSTi?

Hi, I've just tried it here. Slightly different set up, Cubase SX2.2 and Reaktor 4. It freezes as other instruments ok. Are you seeing the time to freeze going up and down? I had I think a problem with "large patches" on Arturia's Moog Modular, maybe it's struggling because of the size?

If it's any help, I use Cubase SL 2.2 with Reaktor Session and I've used freeze on a regular basis without problem.

Thanks for the help, guys. When I restarted the project, I was able to freeze the instances of Reaktor that were being fed by MIDI tracks. I was not able to freeze the tempo-synced Reaktor drum machine I was using, however. I wonder how that's done? Set up an empty, project-length MIDI track and send that to the drum machine? Hm...

Oh well... I consider this problem to be an odd mystery but I'm not going to dwell on it any longer.

Lazlo.. Freeze on a VSTi only works if there are MIDI parts corresponding to it present in the project.. Just create a dummy part and your drum machine should be frozen :)
