Hey guys

Is there anybody out here that knows the guitar used by axwell and the sick individuals?
Im really looking forward hearing its an vst....i hope so!

Hey ! Well a few VSTs can make really cool guitar sounds (I made a few cool patches with Zebra2 but nothing that sounds like this though) but I think Sick Individuals probably recorded a professional guitar player considering :
1)They have enough money to do so
2)The sound is really clear and perfect unlike most VST guitar sounds (even the best Kontakt guitar libraries sound cheap next to this)
That's why EDM producers record actual guitars (I know that Madeon, Avicii and Martin Solveig do that when they need a guitar sound, I'm pretty much sure they all do that)

But if you're searching for a VST then I know that Axwell loves to use Omnisphere :

Omnisphere should be able to make good guitar sounds I think but I'm not sure about this. Kontakt has some good libraries as well, but again, both Omnisphere and Kontakt are really expensive. Also consider that you'll need a VST amp to edit the sound afterwards.

In the end the best way to get this sound is still to record a real guitar, if you have a friend who can play guitar then you're done !

It sounds good but I think they play the chords differently and, probably the most important, the attack is not that strong in the original song, like it's played with real hands
I'm pretty much sure it's a real guitar, but you've got something good too ! You can definitely improve it a bit

I took a simple guitar preset from Logic's Sculpture and had to tweak it a bit to remove most of the attack
Note that there's a piano under the guitar, but the guitar must be a bit more powerful ! For the piano I took a really simple but useful VST it's Truepianos, that's really useful if you want generic "EDM like" pianos and currenly there's a 40% off sale, so I recomand that you try the demo and buy it if you like it, if you're making house music that's a must-have.

IF you want to achieve this guitar sound i recommend using Musiclabs RealStrat or any other of there guitar plugins. Using them for years now and if you master the plugin well enough you can easily recreate this very simple guitar sound!

Just used the plugin a bit of shimmer reverberation a GTR Amp by waves with the preset: Sweet and clean and that basically it

Still not very happy.
Maybe i should buy a cheap guitar. I have tons of guitar vst's and zero sound like the real deal.
I was acutally looking for something like omnisphere keyscape but then only for guitars...
Any idea's?

I know that these guys have some amazing libraries but never tried this one. It's not that much expensive and seems to be able to replicate exactly the sound you need :

Remember that the guitar in this video seems to be layered with a piano so it might sound differently when played solo.
Currently the library is 60€ only so if this is what you're searching for, then you should give it a try !
