Does anyone know of samples or mixing techniques that would achieve a similar snare sound?
Trying to figure out how he gets that scratchy in-your-face snare/clap. I think he's shortening the hi hat sound at (0:10) and using it as a hit. How does one get that scratchy lo-fi sound?

Its not really a snare but more a snap a fast compressor will do the job making it so punchy.
