Heh.. JB Junior arrived yesterday, and today was Payday so I bought a Pearly Gates for the neck pickup in the RG and a P-Rails humbucker for the bridge.
Once it all arrives, it's soldering time!

no more "next" guitars here. I have one I need to sell and I'm set.
3 Basses: A 4, a 5 and a 5 fretless
5 Ibby RG's: The twins (one with trem, one hard tail) the "swimming pool blue" as Hink named, red (which I need to sell) and the rosewood one which is tuned a half step down and drop D (I guess that is drop C#?)
I'm set........I need nothing.

My strat needs fretwork and a new bridge pickup. I'm more dreaming about getting it done then actually doing it as money is really tight.
As far as a Parker Custom or Supreme that's dreamland too. I love the whole concept but it's far outside my financial range.

I've been eyeing one of the Teles with P90s in it.. should be a pretty different sound from normal Tele single-coils.. BUT..V0RT3X wrote:I want to get a Fender Telecaster Studio next.
eventually i want a Moog Guitar for doing ambient soundscapes.
No room for one, no money for one, and already have one project guitar that will take up my attention. Argh!

my tele baritone has duncan p-rails in it so it can be p-90s, single coil rail or humbuckerswoolyloach wrote:I've been eyeing one of the Teles with P90s in it.. should be a pretty different sound from normal Tele single-coils.. BUT..V0RT3X wrote:I want to get a Fender Telecaster Studio next.

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Very nice! Affordable, too - and I like that it's a fixed bridge. The push/pull coil taps on the knobs ROCK!trimph1 wrote:OK...fine.
