Such sick sounds in such a small box!

Awesome stuff, definitely on my to buy list.

And there aren't enough videos of synths going through the Strymon pedals, just sayin' ;)

Post

Really? When I was looking into it I was getting mostly guitar vids, but I'm also a guitar player so maybe youtube was caching my preferences differently or something. Oops.

Post

I said there aren't enough videos of synths going through the Strymon pedals :lol:

This looks and sounds really cool. Iv'e just checked their website after watching your video. This is pretty cheap for what it can do so thanks for the video. Never heard of these people but it seems they have a few other boxes at their site.

$449 £269 €335

@Tarekith

On their site now checking stuff out :D

Ok Mobius sounds cool indeed but that Big Sky reverb is taking my fancy here. It's $479 so I'll think about it. I have a Lexicon MX400XL on order and I never seen this site earlier although Geoff mentioned these long ago to me but I totally forgot grrrr

Strymon pedals sound fantastic and they even handle very hot modular signals well. I like that most of the pedals (maybe all?) have expression pedal inputs, to which you can send 0-5v CV signals. Very nice for wild modulations.
If I remember right, the founders of Strymon are ex-employees of Line6 and Alesis. We know a lot of the same people.

I did not know that, and I'm a huge fan of the Line6 stuff. Very cool.

Last night whilst listening to a few YouTube videos I decided to get the credit card out and order both the "Strymon Timeline and Big Sky Reverb" I though they'd be great hooked up with my DSI Pro2 and Prophet 08 when they arrive shortly. I quite liked this video in the link below, the guy in the video uses a Prophet 12 but I'm sure these FX boxes would sound good regardless what you put through them. Should be here wednesday so I'll put some demos on my Soundcloud when Iv'e had a play with them.
