Roland SP404 like Midicontroller?

Hello,

I sold these days a Roland SP404. Great Hardware. Fat smaller Pads in front. massive build but not to small or to large. Good workflow.

I try to recreate these kind of producing with a launchpad. If the Sounds are ready to play and the buttons for the realtime record are set you get a similar workflow to the SP404 Sequencer. Except sampling and cuting of course.

But like mostly... could it work better with an another Controller?
I found the Behringer CMD DC and the NI Traktor F1

I´m also found the NI Kontrol D2. But don´t know if sampling is working on this unit?
