Arturia Minibrute 2 and Moog Mother 32?

Hi Everyone,

I own a Moog Mother 32, and had anticipated building a Eurorack setup around it. In order to facilitate that, I will soon be purchasing an Arturia Rackbrute (6U). I had originally thought I would also buy the Minibrute 2S, enabling me to patch both synths together (as well as other modules, of course). My question, though, is whether the Arturia and Moog are different enough to warrant having both in a Eurorack setup, or am I better off using the money to be spent on the 2S on other Eurorack modules? The 2S seems to have many patch points, and thus togther with the Moog I think this would provide a lot of flexibility and many patching options, but if the sound of the underlying synth is basically duplicative perhaps I would be better off spending that money on other modules? For example, I could probably buy an MFB Nanzwerg Pro and a Waldorf nw1 for approximately the same as the Arturia - would that make more sense in combination with my Mother 32?

Any thoughts you may have would be very much appreciated.
