Is it possible to save with the preset the zoom level of the analyzer? I have not found how to do this. It defaults to maximum zoom out +/-24db.

I'm afraid not and it won't be done. But it automatically saves the size of the GUI, so if the accuracy is not enough for you by default, just resize the gui 
.
