WORKAROUND : You have to reinstall the vst3 plugins into the vst3 folder of your new cubase pro 8 folder , if you upgrade from previous cubase versions .

The new Plugin manager seems to ignore vst3 melda plugins , vst2 is working ... anybody else or a fault in my system ? win 8.1 64bit ( free bundle and bought multiband saturation )
WORKAROUND : You have to reinstall the vst3 plugins into the vst3 folder of your new cubase pro 8 folder , if you upgrade from previous cubase versions .

I finally got Cubase 8 installed here and everything seems just fine, with the default VST3 plugin folders. In fact I don't think it is actually customisable, VST3 folders are defined by the VST3 standard.
