I know this has been asked a zillion times before but I need an update.

Is there a free or low cost site that allows hosting and direct linkage of songs? I want to make my music available and link via my sig if that's ok.

Everything changes so fast. I'm currently hosting my music on Nowhereradio. They are charging $15 for 6 months of infinite mp3 space and $30 for 6 months of 50mb direct/deep linkable space.

Is this a good deal or is there better out there? I'm looking for a service that is flexible in the sense that it caters for many styles of music rather than being dominated by just dance/rock/hip hop.

http://www.soundclick.com is a fine place to be. Lots of ppl there, forums, charts and it is free, if you want. I've been there for 2 years...

Does not allow downloads for non-members, generates pop-unders, is down too often, has problems for people on Apples.
