Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but have you ever considered podcasting the Organbient shows? I'm rarely online at the time they are playing and after looking at the recent playlists and recognising quite a few of the names (+ ex-KvRers like Donovan) I really think I would enjoy the show. I have a strong feeling that I would be a regular downloader of the shows.

Ah. I don't know how I missed the Archive link. I'd checked out everywhere else on the site :dog:

I've got some downloading to do now, I guess :D Thanks shamann.

We've thought about making shows available for download after the fact, but unfortunately we have permission only to stream from all of the artists, not to make available for download. A lot of artists and labels who give us permission to stream would balk at also making their music available for free download. So instead, we make available our live jams and other selected things that we know we do have rights to offer for download. Hope this helps!

Makes sense to me. I guess this is where labels like Magnatune come into their own with their flexible licensing policies.

I'm staying with my folks for a couple of weeks over Christmas so now is the perfect time to whack a couple of live jams on the ipod (I'm not a big fan of my parents' taste in music ).

Which makes them that much more amazing. The soundscapes you guys can create on-the-fly boggles the mind. I always enjoy the live bits you guys make. :)
Altus : aural journeys for the mind's eye
