I've recently began to get back into playing my guitar, rudimentry though it is, so i thought i'd try and incorporate it into one of my electronica tracks. This was a bit of an experiment, but i think it's worked out ok.
Any comments much appreciated. The track is called "Believe" Cheers.

I liked this a lot - lots of very nice guitar parts that all fit in well together. My only real criticism is that, although it's a pleasant chord progression, I was getting a little bit tired of it before the 2 minute mark - perhaps a section with some different chords?
That aside, it's a good piece of music.

Fourth Mansions - putting the "ick" into music.

The guitar sounds hella nice dude. Good pan effects on it also. I like the progression of the chords. I don't like the attack on the bass, what I would do is make it fade in and out, the peak being the middle beat. Just an idea =) A little too much high end on the hats for my tastes but very nice rhythms throughout on everything.

Nicely done, blipp. As mentioned by others, the guitar parts weave together really well for me. I would also tend to think about variations on that basic "riff" which runs throughout... it does begin to tire a little to my ears, perhaps the intro part is a bit long or something, I don't know?
Really nice sounding though overall. Enjoyed listening to it

Thanks all for your kind words.
This is really a demo of a rough draft just to see if i could combine the guitar with IDM and i will add some more things into the final arrangement to have a bit more variation.
Cheers.

I like it! Nice guitar work, and I like the drums as well. the bass works fine by me although the tune seems a bit bass-light (maybe that's a me thing). A bit more variation would take care of the only thing that got a bit wearing.
All in all, good stuff.

Hey blipp, excellent piece...A couple of comments: I really like where it's going (I see that you say this is a "draft") - the mix was, a bit on top of itself, at least here...It felt that things were crowding on each other. It kinda felt as if everything was at the same volume with the percussive elements VERY upfront. The guitar ideas were excellent and the structure was very cool although I agree about doing something to vary the progression (as much as I like it). Cool!
