Rolls Royce Rhythm Ace = Rozzer

I suppose a compelling argument for the guess should also be included. ;)

Like what?

Well, it was a nice try, wasn't it?
Compelling arguments you say... "Miss Me" must be Lady J, for obvious reasons (I'm off to listen to it now :))

Oh, I dunno. "That snare sound is like the one he used in XXX song previously".

Though I guess we never really thought through the process of confirming the guesses! Does a guess have to be confirmed by two others before it gets edited into the first post as "official"?

Oh, it's not you. We're just trying to figure out how to do this.

Should You™ put a guess up on the board until someone convinces him otherwise?

In fact, should I provide a list as to the real contestant names to match up? That might work better.

There, how's that list for now? I'll just put stuff down. I have some ideas about identities that may be odd, but I'll go with the mob when they speak up.

As for my compelling arguments...

Hink appeared to have outed himself in the Gossip thread a while back but it could have been a clever rouse - although the song sounds like him to me.

Andreas E. got way too involved in defense of the Moody Dudes (who, in between Moody Blues samples, sound remarkably like him on a general MIDI day) and besides, I discovered this on his website:
http://www.panicnow.net/~andreasehrhard ... Cotton.mp3

QueryString just plain sounds like Knockman - or Brian Ferry doing a Knockman imitation.

"Insect's World" is such a well-composed and executed song (if a bit innocuous for my tastes) and a keyboard-heavy bit of jazzy-pop would be a good foil for someone with a name like GuitarJeff - but I really don't have too much confidence in that guess.

Something about the melancholy piano and guitar electronica reminds me of Kovacs. The piano is very similar to his "I Weep" and the guitar work is reminiscent of his "It's a sin."

I think Dr. Apostrophe X could be behind the Anorexic Niggaz...

There are several, ahem, clues in the middle of Arvo's "Hellish Heaven" that make me suspect someone like respirator was involved.

Clarkus Stiller could give Griels a run for his money when it comes to bass playing.

You have three correct guesses.

And I changed your formatting so you can use color coding to show how sure you are. :) (maybe bold the whole line when confirmed?)

Obvious ones are AndreasE & da kiwi with da spelling dizorder
Smithee & Bach are Beardedone & Peppy, or people doing a good job imitating them
Clarkus Stiller's tune reminds me somewhat of Supersquaremariopusherland

I have to believe that The Midwesterers = Kovacs

Vocals are nearly identical to a past entry probably 6-9 months ago - I think it was "I Weep"

That's my only guess. The rest I have no idea about
