funky
break got a little boring in places, need a little more variation, but the tune was cool, milestone sounds ace, good work though, you bring out the best in it here.
cheers,
steve.

Hi, Dudd, dude - that's very good. It's a pretty real sounding mix. It's a very cool arrangement. You don't hear jazzy stuff that much around here on KVR.
And by god, it does sound like a real horn section, doesn't it? Verrry cool.
Are you an "old horn player, by any chance?" Did you do it with a breath controller, or just midi Keyboard?
That's a fun piece, Dudd. I'm going to save it in my keeper mp3 folder. Keep up the good work.

hi rogerperrin
glad, you like the crappy mace & fredo track!
i never played trumpet or any horn, but i like to listen to old funk music - plus, some years ago i saw maceo parker and fred wesley playing at a live concert.
for this one i used an emu x49 crap keyboard with aftertouch and modwheel for the milestone expression and filter control, all instruments are played "live" with direct record to wav in samplitude. im not a real keyboard player, but the funky keys on c i know
btw, i just changed the login name, because i intend to do some more crap music with freeware plugs - so this name fits better.
