- 1-2-many - Fight // Sounds like.. uh .. Cher? Nah, more like those eastern europe boy band pop groups. Somehow it works for me, and got stuck in my head. The bass + vocals remind me of some electro.. maybe Model 500 Night Drive (Time, Space, Transmat), well done.
- Hovmod - Fight to the death // Oh wow, this really takes me back some dozen years. The first part of this track sounds like a mix between Nick Cave and Serious Drinking. Great guitars. Lovely.
- Barnadine - Mohandas // Great vocals on this track and the music is just too sweet.
- Dunks - Fatility // Quite minimal with some nice beats. I'm a sucker for good sratching so there you go. Well put together.
- Liqih - Battle of insectoids at Kitchen Corner // Lovely minimal sounding piece. I like the reverse sounds, and subtle glitchy stuff.
- Xander - we got it on // Nice raw-ish voice, yeah I hear some Tom Waits in there. Good work on the guitar and I like the percussion lots, fits well with the track.
- gag3 - fight // Ahh, easy listening music, gotta love it! Oh wait... Don't understand what's going on exactly, even when you explain about pot roast and bat hitting etc. Tight guitar and well done fx.
- S.HUSH - Kung pow chicken // what's up with that buzz in the guitar. Nice and powerful, great use of vocals. Makes me want to try chop up some wooden planks, zuki zuki zuki! ouch!
- Krita Yuga - 2get // sweet track, right up my alley
- Thomekk - no more fighting // Sweet voices and well performed. Wish it was a bit longer.
p.s.
Farlukar - Itchy & Scratchy // best cover in this contest
Mellotronaut - Cable Clowns // best getting a song I don't particularly like stuck in my head.
p.p.s.
Petru delu damsa - African warriors // I recognize your style as I really like the Insects' World but I had not seen the march results so when I looked into that I see Smithee & Co. was you as well :-)
