You should try stretching each "hitpoint" in the vocal, instead of stretching/pitching it as a whole entity. It's a bit difficult to explain, especially now that I'm under the influence of strong pain killers.

If you post a link to the vocal sample, maybe someone could see what's wrong and even fix it for you.

that's a good idea. Thanks. I have all night so I might do it. If anyone else thinks it needs work please let me know. I knew this would be the right place to go. If you think it is ok that is good to hear too but only if you really think it is.

oh and I am through freaking out about it lol but still would love some input. One day I am going to put all my songs on an album and probably get them mastered properly so before I make the investment I defiently want to get things "right".

I would but those vocals you have to buy the rights too so I wouldn't be allowed to give them away.
