Cute. I'd say the high frequencies of the bass are getting in the way of the melody. The original uses a flute which nicely contrasts with the strings of the orchestra. You have too many sounds fighting for the same mid-range.
Victor.

I have a weak spot for 'remixes' like this. It's fun when it works, and IMO this one does.
I think the guitar sounds a tad sloppy, and the lack of synchronization with the drums causes it to sound rushed. Also, the use of major drum hits (can't tell on laptop speakers whether the kick is in there too) on the beats for emphasis gets a bit old. I might have done it slower, but it's hard to tell with the timing problems.
Oh, and I prefer a pronounced ritard at the end of my Bach. If I find a MIDI that doesn't have it, I add it. I don't think this would work with the structure you've got, but your ending is pretty abrupt...
Anyway, good work; it could be better, but it's worth a listen.

Yeah the drums are all 1 velocity! LOUD,, it seems barbaric.. I dont know, it had a sort of child-like vibe to it.. Reminded me of clowns.
