cheers guys :)
it's all Roland vp9000 - sampled the pipe, trumpet and guitar then triggered them with keyboard while twiddling the three controller knobs. then ordered it all in live.

i'm not gonna mess with it, i need to experiment.

Post

Well, this sounds better than half the crap that gets posted here in the music cafe.

Post

So yea so what was this made in?

cheers S.HUSH - still crap then, just good crap? ;)

Lagrange: i thought i explained in my last post? i sampled it into my roland vp9000 http://www.vintagesynth.com/roland/vp9000.shtml which i played with my fingers whilst recording as audio files on the 'poota. these files were then dumped into Live for organisation. simple eh? ;)

Post

Yea simple.. and real organized.. I'd like to hear what you call chaos.. AHHH.. :)

CinningBao,can you post this track at box.net?
For some unknown reasons I can't access that site.

thanks for the continued interest!

LOL!
This weird piece of 'music' is brilliant - this is one of the worst and funniest tracks I've ever heard at KVR :D
This thing beats even the weirdest 'Kuso' music out there (g200kg will love this one!)
It's almost as you used a few cats and goats and pulled their tails to produce strange 'alien' sounds.
The destroyed guitar and twisted trumpet are awesome :)

Post

cheers softsynth! :) when i found these noises, they made me high just listening to them..
i've been waiting for this kuso music - it's the future!

you know, 6 or so years ago i was making these tracks in Buzz in a similar vein, but very synthetic, and some japanese guy contacted me back then about it - i just thought it was a joke..
i uploaded http://www.box.net/public/scig261p7d to box.net - something from that collection - drums are a bit shit but the rhythmic texture was exactly what i was looking for at the time. i'll see if i can find some better examples, if you're interested :)

I know the farting robot analogy has been used pretty often but...

With some quantizing you might be ...grooving with a Pict
"Music is a hidden arithmetic exercise of the soul, which doesn't know that it is counting." - Gottfried Wilhelm von Leibniz

e to the i pi plus one equals zero
