Once again, with 25 on my shortlist, I feel terrible having to 'discard' so many worthies......but....
1. Kara_Tribute_to_Zelda. Superb. Theme, instrumentation, mix. My favourite in a long time!
2. MarcJX8P_Timechange. Highly evocative. I could almost see the video of this performance.
3. TC_Quintessant. Beautifully played, complex arrangement, with everything.
4. DuncanParsons_Retropolis. Spot on interpretation of the style.
5. Max_el_Belga-Mandrix. Once again….it took me there. Crazy drummer.
6. magog_allegory_of_the_cave. Magical combination of all elements. Lovely guitars.
7. Barnadine_ProgLord. Great composition with a tinge of humour.(a)
8. oddbodsfinger-prideandprogudice. Great composition with a tinge of humour.(b)
9. Xnah_Lost_Souls_Dreams. Brilliant 'live' sound. Shame about the ending.
10. Patrick9-JustJammin. Guitar and drums….top notch. A great free-for-all.
And, I'm afraid, far to many good ones for HM's. Just a big thank you, to all, for your music!

These are my perfectly brilliant votes:
1] Nils B : You have a great melodic approach with your tunes. This is sweetly melodic.
2] Markleford : Well as retarded as this song is, it made me laugh. Right on target with prog wankery.
3] Oddbods Finger : It's the lyrics that I could do w/o. I actually like the song and wish you were singing about conquering the "Fairy of Death Valley". Or maybe the "Ghost of the Roman Knights Templar".
4] Echo Voodoo : I don't care what you say, Kraftwerk is NOT prog rock
5] Mellotronaut : When i first heard it, i was like what the???? But i am listening now and it sux but i feel so bad for you i'm voting for the song regardless.
6] Liqih : Interesting sounding instrumental. It sounds like the start of a 20 minute journey into prog land. Thanks for sparing us the other 18 minutes.
7] Fritz Fiedler
8] peppy197
9] Zeoy
10] me109
The 6 on my list are the only songs i saved for this month so i just kind of threw in the last 4 votes. Crappy month indeed

Here's my votes. It was very tough to whittle down to a top 10.
I enjoyed listening to all the entries.
I really had to struggle between #1 and #2 as I felt they were equally brilliant. But here goes...
1). Sttjelle - Fuz Travel - (Especially for the guitar work and the killer French Horn/drum groove
near the end. This song belongs in a movie soundtrack).
2). Zeoy - Neptune (Wonderful melodies and top notch performance. Bravo, well done!)
3). OddBodsFinger - Pride and Progudice... (Wickedly clever)
4). DuncanParsons - Retropolis (Great Kansas-like song. Loved the scratchy LP record effect)
5). MarcJX8p - Timechange (Great synth sounds and Great performance!)
6). Groovesys - In One Sixtieth (Cool song, parts reminded me of 70's Styx)
7). JPlanet - Overture For Shadows (Keith Emerson on the organ - yeah!)
. TConrady - Quintenssant (Smooooth jazz/prog rock sound - nice work!)
9). FritzFielder - Fanfair For A Fan Of Fairs (Exceptional King Crimson-like song)
10).Me109 - 70's and Beyond (For being the soundtrack of my life)
Thanks for the opportunity to participate.
See you around... Jerry

Applying strict parameters in defining "70's Prog Rock" (though for a bit I was thinking 1870's and hoping someone would do "The Camptown Races") I came to the following voting conclusions:
1. Barnadine - Invocation of the Prog Lord
2. Groovesys - In One Sixtieth
3. Ixox - The River Flows
4. Magog - Allegory of the Cave
5. Me109 - 70sandBeyond
6. Zeoy - Neptune
7. Duncan Parson - Retropolis
8. Laguna Rising - pale dragon returns
9. Markleford - Plowsgare to Swords...
10. Stressed - Ode to Floyd
Though my favourite songs (so good it's worth mentioning):
Disco Arbys - Legion Hush
Summerbreeze - Emerald Tablet
70Fantasia - Peppy
Peace,
Jonny
