This song came from inspiration provided by Ugo's "Elements of Surprise" synth, third place winner in the recent developer's contest:

Thanks for the link and the comments. I'm really surrised that i don't have 5 posts, since i had a thread in here about Fruity Loops the other day. Maybe I need five comments in this section.ugo wrote:Cool track

In any case, the links work, now, that last post must have done it.ugo wrote:Cool track

How do I get the song into a form that will show up on "Listen to Music." I guess it won't key off a URL.ugo wrote:Cool track

I believe you have to post a direct link to the file. However, it appears you cannot download a song at Soundclick unless you are a member, otherwise it makes you use their player. So to get your song to show up in the player here at KVR, I think you'd have to upload the song somewhere else, where anyone could get a direct download of it.

Also, thanks for your time and comments. No others, yet.

I am not sure what other free services are out there for file hosting that will be picked up as a direct link by the KVR music tracker. Especially any that would not have low limits on bandwidth. (Otherwise the link would be inactive again rather quickly.)Hellwilliam wrote:Somewhere else, like where?
You might want to ask about cheap hosting recommendations in the off topic forum here, or use the search function here to look for previous discussions about this.
I get my web hosting from Network Solutions, who I have been pleased with. I use their Advanced Hosting package and I pay $160 up front for a years worth. They have a more basic package that works out to $10 per month, if you pay for a year up front.
I believe I remember people here mentioning cheaper deals at other hosting places though.
