First upload to KVR so hope it works. Hosted at fileden so it may be slow to stream as its a 11Mb 320kbps file. Its probably quicker to download it than stream it I guess? Any suggestions on other free hosting sites appreciated.
Anyway , just a sort of Dubstep tune I posted on EM411 a while ago.

Any comments/criticisms more than welcome.

This is hot. I really enjoyed it, but even my super highway connection occasionally paused on me in the stream. Cool work, though I feel it might be a little too compressed. And a comment like that coming from me must mean I hear unpleasant heavy compression artifacts, as I love compressed music.
Cool groove. I must explore your others...

nice, but IMHO the drum is too loud compared to the bass and the bass is too hollow,

also Trample the Eagle , Dragon and Bear refix
has a similar sound to me, maybe you mix with a loud subwoofer or earphones?

Thanks for taking the time to check the stuff out. The track posted here is DEFINITELY over-compressed , it was a first-take mix that I originally posted on EM411 as a test upload , so I treated it the same for KVR , just a test. Much appreciated comments , I'll upload some more recent tunes so I hope you get the chance to check them out too.
And SPOT-On about the headphone mix giving a poor balance between drums and bass too .. Recently I have been using headphones a lot due to the fact that I often seem to find myself mixing after midnight , and unfortunately I have neighbours that I "entertain" more than enough with my loud dubs during daylight hours lol.
Its been a while since I seriously worked a tune till the very end to be honest. But when I do , I usually reference the tune through different systems when possible . Thanks for letting me know that its so noticeable. Looks like I either have to go back to mixing during the day through monitors , or find some kind of pan/eq/filter setup that emulates speaker type setups through headphones. Im sure I saw a piece of softeare somewhere recently that claimed to do just that?
Again , many thanks for taking the time to listen and review.
Cheers
Maz
