Hearig your song

Hello guys,

This may sound a daft question... But once you get your song signed how do you know when its played..

(alot of people seem to know) does the company that sign it let you know each time it is played??

Or is it just pot luck there listening to that station when there song comes on....

Like i said, probs a really silly question..

In Norway the system is pretty straightforward. All broadcasting mediums (radio, TV, etc.) report their playlists to an organization called Tono, who then bills them and distributes the money to the artists accordingly (provided the artist has registered with said organization).
