In the monent we have a nice summer wheather in germany.
That gives me the idea for a summer chill song.

A summery tune indeed. Quite nice.
Cool: the acoustic guitar solo, strings, incidental noises.
Not cool: that rhythmic piano. Reminds me of the automatic chord generator in old eleectronic organs.
Victor.

Hi VicDiesel,
many thanks for your comment.
The piano chord rhythm is a typical piano part for bossanova.
But to reduce the chord generator effect I made a new version where I
make three breaks with the rhythm. When my voice comes in the middle of the song I play now only chords without rhythm.
I hope it sounds better for you.

Yeah, but yours sounds a bit too quantized. Are the notes all the same velocity? Maybe play them by hand and only quantize a bit. Or vary the rhythm. Leave out some hits during the vocals, others during the guitar solo.Gucky wrote: The piano chord rhythm is a typical piano part for bossanova.
Still a nice tune.

Hi VicDiesel,
thanks for your tips again.
I did in my new version some little variations of the piano chord pattern.
I found out that I made a big mistake in the mastering. The ratio of the compressor was much too high for such style of music.
I changed to a lower ratio now and I think the piano sounds now more dynamic.
