This is certainly true. 4 weeks ago I upgraded my amp from an 18 year-old Arcam Alpha 6 to a new FMJ A19. The old amp was good, but the new one has really "opened up" the sound of my system, especially at higher volume. "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" never sounded better.

Somehow I seem to have completely missed this first class work until today :-o
I've no idea how that could have happened, but I'm really glad I've found it now.
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!
