My album "RETRO LIFE" is inspired by my childhood and all the fond memories that I have about the video games I use to play and also all the movies, music and pop culture from the late 80's and the 90's: Ghostbusters, Wayne's World, Wargames, Beavis & Butt-Head, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and all the movies with Tom Hanks, Robin Williams and, of course, Arnold Schwarzenegger (yes, I wrote his name without checking wikipedia
)... this list could goes on and on as I have so many great memories from this time of my life !As a computer I use to have an Amstrad CPC6128 then an Atari Ste1040 (yes, I know, I neved had an amiga, sorry...)... I also had a Snes and, poor me, a Game Gear (a song is dedicate to this console on this album).
Well, to say it short: I was born in 1982 and this album is my love letter to all the 80's & 90's kids and teens ! This is a compilation of chiptunes modules made with a tracker in the “old-fashioned” way. They are short, they are sweet and full of sine, square and triangle waves.
Now, let's start the DeLorean : where we go, we don't need roads !
