As music without something visual nowadays is in a "defensive" position, I finished my "New Album" with 12 tracks some time ago and did Video-Clips for all the tracks over another lots of months. Now everything is finished - videos will follow peu à peu...
The music is international, but the lyrics are in german this time (some have subs) - I hope this is enjoyable anyways for any listeners and watchers

EDIT: This is the last of the 12 videos - now all tracks from the "New Album" have been "visualized".
Thanks to all who watched und commented (especially Frantz!) - now this damn Spam will stop and it probably will take some time till I have another video!

And sorry - no video-corner here - otherwise I would have posted this there

Will put other videos into this thread as well laters (maybe they are more for the tastes)
which will have other sorts of style.

Anyways - I have learned (not completely unsurprising) that the Schlager-Genre isn't very welcomed

This is sort of a dada whacko kangaroo Electro-Pop tune (refined, an old version was posted longer time ago in the Contest).

It has english subtitles, but the lyrics are minimal anyways
(english) "See the dirty kangaroo-smoke? On Binger Alm... it starts it starts"

I know the feeling. You put a lot of effort into making a video and no one comments.

I like the Kargaroo song. Fun, catchy, and silly.

I think the video was good. I think it would work even better if you were jumping around in a kagaroo suit and the colors were brighter. More poppy looking instead of grungy. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this.

especially for understanding that feeling, but furthermore for giving it a viewing&listening!

And yes, it is grungy (filmed with an iPhone and no good light). A costume would have been great, of course

So all was done minimal. Still love the possibilities Hitfilm Express as a NLE gives with all the vfx.

The animation in "Ans Licht" is very effective. Striking and eerie. It really enhanced the music. How did you create that character?

Hey Frantz

I did the character with makehuman (http://www.makehumancommunity.org/), this is a cool free and open source tool (also for Linux) specially for building human 3D-Models. Lots of options to form a human body there. It's fun to me.

The problem for me newb was to get the exported model into 3D-animation movement. I struggled with that part.

For that you would need eg. Blender. But Blender is not that intuitive at all unfortunately. Some say it takes years to have control here...

So I used another tool for making the exported model still image speak afterwards: CrazyTalk (https://www.reallusion.com/crazytalk/) This is good for giving static 2D-Faces "crazy talk" abilities - takes some time, but it does a good job.

You're welcome. MakeHuman is great and also quite intuitive - it has an active community, where you can get a lots of assets to costume the figures. Even without Blender abilities you can form your figure, compose (a) still scene(s) and export it as png.

I hope someday to switch to linux, but as long as my two main progs aren't ported I have to hold off.

update:
Now the 4th of the video-clips of the "New Album" is up. And it fits seasonally + temperaturewise (very hot here)

This is a fun, summery party track with some wistful undertones. Some retro vocal samples combined with more modern house beats. There are some exaggerated rotary/spatial effects that I didn't like but otherwise the mix is quite good.

This video is less ambitious than previous efforts but perfectly suited to the material.

Great job once again.

thanks a lot again

I just tried to set this up temporary fitting and it has worked weatherwise.
Concerning the more conventional video - yeah, possibly the problem was here that there are no lyrics at all.
Having lyrics did made it easier in the other cases. It will stay the only one without words in the series though

Anyone else?
(I originally thought binding all videos for the album into one thread would be better - maybe I change it in the future)
