a house track that i released on 2000 on 12"
Due to is difficult to find it,i decided to hang on the net.
I was using samples to make the drums,a hat sampled from the soundtrack "Shaft", a fender rhodes recorded from my friend ,and a Jx3p synth.
no plugins involved, i was using a yamaha promix 02w (the old one) and a pentium III.

Hi Joan.
This is very dancey.
I like the rhythm.
Your keyboard friend plays like Herbie Hancock.
I think he plays on a song from your web site...no?

Usually we work toghether,he's very good playing fender rhodes and piano, he also plays many instruments. The track can be all played with real instruments,it will be cool to hear a funky version played by musicians!
thanks for the feedback!.I will post some other tracks in the next months.

I just love the tempered feel of this and how slowly the funky feel of this grows. Has a bit of that chicago/deep feel. Something I wouldn't have mind having or spinning in the DJ years.
Hope there is more and new material too. What I heard thusfar (including the EP's) is quite good.

Beautiful schmoove house track.
And I'm a sucker for beautiful schmoove house tracks.
Classy stuff. Under what name was this released? It would be cool to track this down (and maybe find it, too).
Groet, Erik

Thumbs up. A very funky and smooth house track. Really dig the bass line and the guitarish sounds. Good use of the rhodes, too (though kinda basic). Wisely chosen synth chord for the extra spice. Nothing to complain about the mixing (some guys might prefer a thicker bassdrum - I think it's good as it is).
